An Evening with Richard Blanco

The UH Center for Diversity and Inclusion Fall Speaker Series features "An Evening with Poet Richard Blanco" at 6:00 p.m. on October 12th in the Houston Room (Student Center South). Richard Blanco’s poetry has explored cultural, gender and sexual identity in America. Participants will have an opportunity to experience Blanco’s poetry and hear his insights on his journey as an immigrant. Blanco was selected to read one of his works during President Obama’s 2013 inauguration. You don’t want to miss this engaging event that is a part of UH Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. The event is free and open to the public.
